Scottish Junior Men Division 1 Championship

Fury U18 Men are this season`s Division1 League Champions and the 38pt road win against West Lothian Wolves, means its back to back JM Div 1 titles for Coach Keith Bunyan and a number of the current team. Fury maintained their near 40pt average game winning stat with a solid team performance that saw 5 players in double figure scoring. The title gives Fury their second major Trophy of the season following on from the Senior Men`s recent Scottish Cup Final win over St.Mirren. It also maintains the clubs consistent form in the past 10 seasons at U18 Mens Division 1 level where they have taken the League, Cup or Play-Off titles, now on 8 occassions. Fury started strongly with a 32-16 opening quarter. Wolves pulled a point back to give the Falkirk side a 15pt half-time lead. The third saw Fury tighten up their defence, holding Wolves to 9 points while putting a further 24 on the board for a 30pt lead going into the final stanza. That final quarter finished 22-14 to the now Scottish Champions and saw Fury’s Jack Davidson top score on 19pts – Davidson , a controversial miss from last season’s Scotland U16 team.
