INVERNESS ROAD TRIP FOR CM2 & JM 2 TEAMS

Fury’s second Cadet and Junior Men's teams made the 300 mile round trip on Saturday to play Highland Bears at Inverness Royal Academy and while both games ended in defeat, the development squads took a lot from the trip and the games. Team bonding was high on the list on and off court and in the CM2 game the 61-34 loss does not reflect the effort of the team who were only 7pts behind at the half. DAVIDSON HITS 29 IN BIG WIN FOR FURY CADET MEN 1

Sony Centre Fury CM 1 83 Glasgow Rens Basketball Club 40 Scottish Championship U16 Mens Division 1 Basketball Fury Cadet Men’s Division 1 side bounced back from an opening game loss to Tayside with a much improved performance in Glasgow. Key to the 43pt win and the difference in the two games was the performance was of Scotland International Jack Davidson who ended the game with 29pts. A 29-6 opening period meant Fury were well in control right from the start and this meant Fury rotated their team throughout. Scottish Senior MEN Division 1 Basketball Championship A blistering 37 -12 third period saw Fury kill off a spirited Glasgow Storm side and take a 75-40 lead into the final period. The Fury fans had seen their team take a 19-9 first quarter lead but with honors even in the second stanza it was still only a 10 pt gap at the half. Fury ran their bench in the final period as they moved to 2 -0 in the season 17-18 campaign.
