FURY BC - FINAL NIGHT AT THE MARINER!!!! 8pm Tip Play-Off Semi-Finals SM FURY V STORM

Tonight will be the club’s last official game at the Mariner SC – “Home of the Fury” for 25 seasons.

We move to Grangemouth SC next season due to a change of use of the Mariner Sports Hall.

The Mariner has seen many exciting and title winning matches for all of Fury’s 6 National League teams –

Senior Men and Woman, Junior Men and Woman and U16 Men and Woman.

Fury have always and continue to play in Scotland’s top basketball division and with over 20 National titles accumulated during the past 25 seasons, Fury are seen as one of the top clubs in the country.

Producing many International and GB players and several who have turned pro and secured basketball scholarships, the club and of course the Mariner have played a huge amount in that success.

The Mariner is the venue all teams look forward to play in, not least because of Fury’s fanatical fans but the great close up bleacher seating that lets the crowd be a big part of the game.

The Club also acknowledge the fantastic support the Mariner staff have given over the years. From Manager John Fairgrieve to current Manager Carol Whyte reception staff Erin and Helen, Trish in bookings all the great Duty officers and staff – many like Allan who have been at the Mariner as long as we have and helped make the Mariner a very special place to play basketball – so in particular to the Mariner staff, thanks for such a great 25 seasons !
