FURY CW SECURE PLAY OFF SEMI-FINAL SPOT

Fury Cadette Woman will play St.Mirren in the semi-finals of the Play-Offs tomorrow with a 6pm tip at the Oriam SC.

This comes on the back of a procedural error in their quarter-final match against Edinburgh Kool Kats.

Fury lost to Kats but FIBA ruled a replay was required as a result of an officials action during the match.

City of Edinburgh BC appealed the replay decision by FIBA,

but their appeal was not upheld.

CE Kool Kats then subsequently forfeited the game to the Falkirk club.

Kim Flockhart’s team, after a period of uncertainty will now seek to repeat their win over the Paisley side they achieved in the Scottish Cup but Saints will start favorites to make the Final in April after two solid wins against the Sony sponsored side in the Championship.

Whatever the result the Falkirk side can reflect on their best ever season in the CW Division 1 league for several years with a 3rd place in the Championship and runners-up in the Scottish Cup Final.
