Fury eased into the Semi-Finals with a comfortable win over the Muskies (Tayside Musketeers Basketball Club) at the Oriam. The no2 seed Falkirk side was too strong for their no 7 seeded rivals and the game was over by the end of the first with a 20-5 scoreline. Fury led by 23 at the half and 32 at the end of the third. A strong finish by Fury’s players younger players in the 4th increased the scoreline to a 50 pt gap by the final whistle. Captain Kieran Allan led Fury with 19. Scott Lothian had 14 with a great performance from Thomas Boyle with 12 and Jack Davidson finished with 10. Coach Carlow’s side will now face a West Lothian Wolves who despite Fury finishing above in the Championship have beaten the Falkirk side twice in their 3 meetings this season. There is no doubt this will be a tight game with both teams vying for a place in the Final where they are likely to face a St.Mirren side who are undefeated this season. Fury’s semi-final is at the Oriam tomorrow morning at 10am. #GO FURY!!!
