It was one way traffic in this development game that saw the Sony sponsored side pile on the points and stay in the top 4 of the Division 2 Championship. Fury’s trapping defence produced turnover after turnover and saw Blaze unable to compete with a genuine second Fury junior team, as not one of Fury’s second team is listed in the first teams 12 player squad. Leading the scoring for Fury was Thomas Boyle with a game high 27 pts who almost outscored Blaze himself.
Fury held Blaze to single digits in each quarter, scoring 22 – 21-26-27 themselves. Daniel Dewar had an impressive 17pts with all the Fury team getting on the scoresheet.
