Scottish Junior Woman Division 1 Basketball Championships

Newly merged Knights – Fury U18 woman struggled to contain a pressing Rocks side who took advantage of every error from the home side at the Peak. While the KFC side showed potentially what they were capable of by winning the second period 21-18, the three other quarters saw the team unable to keep pace with the Rocks scoring.

For KFC – forward Nina Wills scored 14 with Rachael Penman on 9 and Katie McEwan on 6. The team will continue to work to develop their offence and look at areas on the defensive end that as a team and players they can improve. The positive situation for both clubs is the pathway they have resolved to give their junior woman programs.
