FURY CADETTE WOMAN IN MANCHESTER

Sony Centre Fury U16 Woman had a successful week-end in Manchester at the Georgie Jones Tournament. Rebecca Lonsdale’s side used the invite to the top level competition as a great pre-season situation and while there were some losses this was a positive couple days for the team. The young Fury side played 5 games over the week-end and were up against sides that included England Internationals and teams from Ireland. Fury lost their opening games 48-38 against Liffey Celtics and 76-30 to a very strong Manchester Mystics first team. The Falkirk side then got back to back wins over Northhants 58-33 and Manchester Mystics second team 43-28. In their final game for 5th/6th place, a close game resulted in a 48-39 defeat to Ongar Chasers.
